Did you put all these except for step 3 in one layer only? awesome tutorial by the way. Maybe you could drop a skin coloring tutorial someday?

This tutorial is really helpfull so thank you ^^ I only have one question tho, what happens with the linearts? xD Do you simply delete the lineart layer, you color them or you shade directly one the same layer or one above the lineart layer?

I absolutely LOVE this. May I ask can you do a tutorial specifically on the eyes? They are my weakest point, and I have a very hard time doing them i a relaistic style And also, I'm a little confused. You said you do the painting on a layer below the sketch, but how is it that the steps after that have no lineart/visible sketch?

Hello :) I am glad you like the tutorial! About the coloring underneath the sketch, I do that at the beginning with base colors, then I will usually merge the sketch down onto the color layer and just keep painting on it, hope that makes sense to you.
I would love to do an eye tutorial in the future, however right now I do not have time for making it, so I will direct you to this incredible tutorial by Linda Bergkvist, she explains everything so well about painting realistic eyes [link] enjoy ;)

so i gotta say, as amazing as your artwork is (and it's friggin amazing), i found your tut to be like this:[link]

at least coloring wise. sorry to be blunt haha, but i was so confused. i was like, "ok, color here, light shading...my god, she's colored the rest of the person. still love the piece tho!!

That's exaaactly how I felt too lol. It's like oh ok, I see the sketch alright awes-

...

*sets self on fire*

This literally looks impossible. And look at the hand, specifically that looks the most mind blowing because the nails and everything and the veins. Just.... HOW? But the picture in itself is beautiful.
